Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, case number, or other term entered in a search tool is sent directly to the third-party company operating that feature. The outside provider processes the input and supplies its results. Fisher County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When a person sends an email, we may retain the message and contact details in order to respond. The communication is kept within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers may receive routine technical information whenever a visitor loads a page:
- the device's Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- operating system and device category;
- pages viewed and approximate time spent on them;
- a referring website, when one is supplied; and
- the date and time associated with a page request.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. We use them with analytics services to understand aggregate traffic, such as commonly visited pages and points where visits end. A browser can be set to refuse cookies. Disabling them may cause some website functions to behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
- operate the website and improve page performance;
- pass a visitor's search request to the selected partner;
- measure which reference pages are useful;
- diagnose errors and other technical problems; and
- display advertising that may reflect a visitor's interests.
No Court-Record Data on File
Fisher County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It publishes general instructions for locating records held by the Fisher County Clerk, Fisher County District Clerk, trial and lower courts, and participating Texas search services. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools placed on some pages. Information entered in one of those tools is handled under that provider's privacy policy, not this policy. The provider determines its own retention, pricing, use, and disclosure practices. Visitors should read the applicable outside policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Fisher County offices, the 32nd District Court, Texas court systems, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's terms and privacy policy control that visit. Review those terms before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to follow activity across websites and select ads. That processing takes place through the provider's systems rather than ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- the search provider that processes a query;
- analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance;
- advertising networks serving content on these pages; or
- a court, law-enforcement agency, or government body acting under a valid legal demand.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards are applied to information in our control. Every internet-connected service carries risk, however. We work to protect visitor data but cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such information, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Rights over personal data can vary with a visitor's location and the law that applies. A person may ask to:
- receive a copy of personal information we retain about that person;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information where the law permits; or
- opt out of certain processing when an applicable right provides that choice.
Texas Government Code Chapter 552, known as the Texas Public Information Act, applies to covered government information and is not a private-site consumer privacy statute. Texas court case records are also distinct: judicial-record requests may involve Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12, while adjudicative case access is governed by court rules, statutes, and orders. Requests for Fisher County official records should go to the appropriate government custodian.
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this privacy policy as practices or requirements change. A revised version will be posted here and will carry a new effective date. Visitors should review the current text when they want to understand how information is handled.
Effective date: September 7, 2026
